A Tribute to Those we Remember

The Hospice Foundation of Jefferson County is proud to offer the "ForEvergreen" Tree. This gift will serve as a lasting tribute and monument to honor the memory of a family member or friend, or to recognize a special occasion or achievement.

By making this thoughtful gift you create a remembrance of someone very special, and at the same time further a cause you believe in. Your support will help to provide for Hospice of Jefferson County and its mission of caring for the terminally ill and their families in Jefferson and Southern St. Lawrence Counties.

Planting for the Future

The Hospice Foundation was established to provide long-term financial support for the Hospice of Jefferson County. The "ForEvergreen" Tree will help to ensure the financial stability of Hospice for years to come. Gifts made to the "Tree" will be designated for the Foundation's Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund is invested to generate a permanent and ongoing source of income for the financial needs of Hospice of Jefferson County.

The Evergreens

This hand carved tree made of solid hardwood is an original work of art by artist Sanford Werfel of Avenel, New Jersey. It is a one-of-a-kind sculpture designed especially for the Hospice Foundation of Jefferson County, Inc.

The evergreen design was selected for its representation of the area we live in. Each needle cluster(leaf), pine cone, and donor stone will be inscribed with the names or occasions of those to be remembered or honored, and those who gave the gift.

EACH PART OF THE "FOREVERGREEN" TREE OFFERS ITS OWN UNIQUE AND ARTFUL WAY TO REMEMBER. SAMPLES ARE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW BY CONTACTING THE FOUNDATION OFFICE. PINE CONES AND STONES MAY BE PLEDGED OVER A 2 TO 3 YEAR PERIOD WITH THIRTY PERCENT PAID AT TIME OF COMMITMENT. WE WILL BE PLEASED TO SEND AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT CARD TO THE PERSON OR FAMILY OF YOUR CHOICE. PINE CONES AND STONES MAY BE DEDICATED WITH GIFTS OF STOCK OR APPRECIATED PROPERTY.
