The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal organization that both men and women can join. The order has a charitable foundation that has contributed too many charities and not-for-profit organizations.
On Sunday, October 2, 2011 the New York State Order of the Eastern Star held a luncheon at the Italian American Club for members and invited guests. At this luncheon a check was presented to Hospice of Jefferson County in the amount of $5,000. Hospice of Jefferson County is very grateful for their generosity.
